Safer Drivers Course

The Safer Drivers Course is a state government initiative aimed at improving new driver behaviours. The course curriculum has been developed by a board of road safety experts and is a combination of theory and practical training for under 25 year old drivers who have completed 50 logged hours of driving.

Drive 4 Life is an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.

The course is made up of 2 modules

Module 1 (theory)
Three hour group discussion delivered by a facilitator and will involve between 6 and 12 participants.

Module 2 (practical)
Two hours in-vehicle coaching session to develop low-risk driving strategies. This module involves two participants and a coach. This session may not be on the same day as Module 1.

The cost of the course is $140 per person. At the completion of both Module 1 and 2 participants will be eligible to receive a 20 hour credit in their log books.
